Jay Campion
is a co-founder and Managing Director of Access Venture Partners. Mr. Campion has over thirty years of experience in the formation and management of companies. He recruited Woodside Fund III to Texas and has been a Special Limited Partner of that fund for thirteen years. Prior to joining Woodside Fund III, Mr. Campion was the President of the Texas Research and Technology Foundation (TRTF) and Ventex Group, Inc. its venture capital subsidiary. Mr. Campion has extensive energy industry experience including President and CEO of a refining and marketing company and a senior manager for a large independent company with refining, natural gas liquids and production facilities.
Mr. Campion was a founding director and investor in both Cerebro Vascular Advances, a clinical research organization, which was merged into Quintiles (QTRN) for a 50X return, and OsteoBiologics which was acquired by Smith & Nephew (SNN) at a 23X TTM value. Mr. Campion serves on the board of directors of Alert Logic, ETI, QuickArrow, Skydex Technologies and VizionWare.
Mr. Campion received his B.S. in Business Administration from Regis College, Denver, Colorado in 1969. Mr. Campion is located in Austin, Texas. |

Frank Mendicino
II
has 36 years experience investing on behalf of limited partners, the last 25 as General Partner of Woodside Funds I, II and III and Access Venture Partners, I.
Prior to joining in the formation of Woodside Fund he practiced law and served terms in the Wyoming House of Representative and as Wyoming Attorney General. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Wyoming Foundation, former board member of the Western Research Institute, a member of Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming College of Business Advisory Council and is on the Board of Directors of Stratex Networks (STXN – NASDAQ), a public company. He has also served on the boards of directors of over 25 private companies.
Mr. Mendicino earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a law degree, with honors, both from the University of Wyoming. In 2005 the University of Wyoming awarded Mr. Mendicino an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree. Mr. Mendicino is located in Denver, Colorado. |

Frank Mendicino III
is a co-founder and Managing Director of Access Venture Partners, an early stage, high technology venture capital fund. Mr. Mendicino has 15 years of experience in venture capital which includes successfully investing in, growing and exiting growth companies. Through his work with early stage companies, he has built a large network of deal referral sources and value added resources for portfolio companies. Mr. Mendicino was a founding board member of The Contra Costa County Incubator in San Francisco. He is former board member of the Colorado Venture Capital Association. Mr. Mendicino has a deep understanding of product development and sales and marketing processes which allows him to accelerate the growth of the companies in which Access Venture Partners invests.
Prior to co-founding Access Venture Partners, Mr. Mendicino worked for Woodside Fund, a Silicon Valley venture fund, for 10 years where he helped build and exit a successful portfolio of 29 early stage companies.
Mr. Mendicino is on the Board of Directors of several private companies. He received his B.A. in Political Science from The University of California at Berkeley in 1989. Mr. Mendicino is located in Denver, Colorado. |

Brian D. Wallace
joined Access Venture Partners in January, 2006 as a Managing Director. Mr. Wallace is also a corporate and securities attorney with Fairfield and Woods, P.C. in Denver, Colorado representing emerging growth companies in commercial and corporate transactions, intellectual property, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a board advisor to several technology companies and has worked closely with Access Venture Partners’ portfolio companies and financings. Mr. Wallace received his law degree, magna cum laude, in 1992 from the University of Arizona and a B.S. degree in Business Finance, magna cum laude, in 1988 from the University of Arizona. Mr. Wallace is located in Denver, Colorado. |
