CEO Marc Hafner has been impressed with the value that Access Venture Partners has brought to his Austin-based company, BroadCloud Communications. "They have been a terrific local resource, and their access to capital and strategic partners in Silicon Valley has been invaluable," says Hafner. "Their Austin partner is very involved with our strategic and tactical issues, and he's always been responsive and has helped us navigate through some of our most critical management decisions," adds Hafner.
When it came time for Hafner and CTO Dave Thompson to look for strategic partnerships and capital in Silicon Valley, the San Francisco office made a big contribution. "These guys arranged for us to meet with some top tier VCs we never could have connected with on our own. Lots of VCs talk about adding value, Access doesn't just talk about it, they perform," concluded Hafner.
Frank Grenon has been CEO of two companies backed by the Access Venture Partners team. "They supported us as we built Innova, and they stayed with us all the way through a successful IPO and ultimate acquisition," says Grenon. "I was so impressed, I invested some of the money I made in their next fund," he concluded.
