Jay Campion - Venture Partner
Jay has considerable university-related technology transfer experience, having funded several companies formed around technologies transferred from major university systems. Jay also has extensive energy industry experience including President and CEO of a refining and marketing company and a senior manager for a large independent company with refining, natural gas liquids and production facilities. Previous investment successes include Cerebro Vascular Advances, a clinical research organization, which was merged into Quintiles (QTRN) for a 50X return, and OsteoBiologics which was acquired by Smith & Nephew (SNN) at a 23X TTM value. Jay received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Regis College, Denver, Colorado. He is an avid grandfather, and spends free time working on his hunting lease in south Texas.
