Matt Reisman

Matt Reisman is an MBA Student Fellow for Access Venture Partners during the 2011-2012 school year. Matt is a dual degree student at the University of Colorado, enrolled in the MBA program at the Leeds School of Business and the Masters Program in Environmental Studies as well as a participant in the Graduate Energy Certificate Program offered by RASEI. His studies are focused on Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Innovation of Clean Technologies.

Before coming to the University of Colorado, Matt earned a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a focus on pre-veterinary medicine from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After completing his undergraduate studies he worked in various roles for entrepreneurial organizations. His positions included the founder of a sustainable apparel venture and the Director of Education for an environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation non-profit organization.

As a student at the University of Colorado, Matt has been the president of the Graduate Entrepreneurs Association (GEA) where he planned numerous events that have exposed students to entrepreneurship from the perspectives of entrepreneurs, investors, and academic experts. He has pitched business plans and was the treasurer of CU Energy during his first year. Outside of the University, he has interned with NREL as well as RASEI where he performed market research and analysis of various clean technologies.
